We, Monika and Bernd, have been farming our Edhof organically since 2016. In previous years, sustainable economic practices were also particularly important to us.

 

Our 35 dairy cows feel very comfortable in the stable, which was newly built in 2019, with lots of light, air and space. Animal comfort and animal welfare at the highest standard.

The stable concept is rounded off with a milking robot.

 

During the growing season, the ladies graze as much as possible on the meadows in the form of short-grass pasture. Our ladies are free to decide 24 hours a day whether they want to eat, rest or go milking.  Our cows therefore produce excellent organic milk. We think you can taste it!

Chickens are also a must on an organic farm. Brown, white and green layers ensure the best organic eggs and a colorful mix in the egg box. Our hard-working poultry, aged 25-30, are out in the open air from morning to night and a sand bath is a must every now and then.
